North Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Membership Application Form


The North Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NDACDL) was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation by the North Dakota Secretary of State on January 29, 2010.  The mission of the NDACDL is to: promote justice and due process for individuals accused of a crime; foster integrity, independence, and expertise of the criminal defense profession; and to promote the proper and fair administration of criminal justice within the State of North Dakota.

The Association is seeking renewal and new membership for 2016.  Membership deadline for 2016 is June 1, 2016.  Membership is open to three membership classes with the following annual membership rates:  
 

►                 Regular membership, $150

Attorneys of professional competence, integrity and good moral character who are actively engaged in or retired from the defense of criminal cases.

 

►                 Public Defender/Military membership, $100

Attorneys of professional competence, integrity and good moral character who are in the employ of local, state or federal public defender offices, legal services agencies, or are active duty military lawyers engaged in the practice of criminal defense.

 

►                 New Lawyer membership , $75

Attorneys of professional competence, integrity and good moral character who are actively engaged in the defense of criminal cases and who have been admitted to the bar for less than three (3) years.

 

The NDACDL bylaws require that applications for membership shall be in writing, and are subject to the approval of an officer of the corporation.  Membership applications and a check or money order for dues should be mailed to:
